What? You didn’t know how important it is for adults to keep up a hobby? Well then I’m glad you happened upon my site! Hobbies – especially ones in the creative realm – are something of a passion of mine. Making time to delve into a project allows the brain a safe space to relax while building healthy, happy pathways for neurons to travel.
If you have lost interest in your current hobby, might I suggest a new creative route. I have compiled for you a (noncomprehensive) list of creative hobbies that are easy to start. Each one is hyperlinked to a *kit with everything you would need to at least get started.

*How I picked the kits: I was very intentional with which kit I attached, as I have enjoyed many of these hobbies myself and was familiar with what would be necessary to start. For example, with the painting-related hobbies I chose a kit with an easel since it makes it far easier to paint when the canvas is vertical. With other hobbies and where possible, I chose a kit that included an instructional book. If not book is included and you feel you would benefit from one, the public library is a wonderful resource in that area. As is YouTube if you would rather watch a tutorial.
Please also keep in mind these kits are geared toward beginners and there are a myriad of other, perhaps better quality supplies you could look into if you decide to pursue the hobby further. I tried to keep all kits under $50.
